The petitioner's request to be appointed for the post of Multi Purpose Hospital Worker came to be rejected through the impugned order, dated 07.03.2022, on the ground that there are no existing vacancies.
2. Whenever, vacancy arises and the respondent's institution intend to fill up such vacancy, there is a duty casts on them to follow the procedures for such selection process. It is needless to point out that the petitioner, if qualified, is entitled to participate in the selection process. Since the respondents have rejected the petitioner's request on the ground that there are no vacancy, I do not find any infirmity in such order. 3.Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to participate in future selection process for the post of Multi Purpose Hospital Worker. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
