Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner for his life and limb and for police protection to complete the remaining balance of construction work of house of the petitioner and the property situated in Survey. No.173/1B at Palayam Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.11.2021 and 26.04.2022. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to to direct the second respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner for his life and limb and to complete the remaining construction work of house of the petitioner and the property situated in S.No.173/1B at Palayam Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.11.2021 and 26.04.2022.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased the property from one Pitchai in Survey No.173/1 to the extent of 588 sq.ft at Palayam Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District under a registered sale deed dated 29.12.2008. After that, he demolished the thatched house and made a concrete house, for which the respondents 3 to 5 made objection to construct the house building. The petitioner completed much construction work. When the petitioner is going to complete the pending work, the respondents 3 to 5 restricted the petitioner to do the work. Therefore, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent police on 27.11.2021 and 26.04.2022, so far the police have not taken any action. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the respondent police has received the complaint dated 27.11.2021 and 26.04.2022 and since there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5, the respondent police did not take action thereon.

4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the respondent police is hereby directed to consider the representation given by the petitioner and enquiry the matter and take suitable action within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With a above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of .
