This petition is filed to quash the proceedings of the First Information Report in Crime No.1212 of 2020 dated 12.10.2020 on the file of the second respondent insofar as the petitioner is concerned.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this is a case of double murder registered in Crime No.1212 of 2020. He would further submit that investigation has been completed and Final Report also filed and the same was taken cognizance by the III Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Court), Madurai in S.C.No.34 of 2021.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11910 of 2021 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that Final Report has been filed and the same was taken cognizance by the concerned Court, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition. 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
