This writ petition is filed for writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 02.07.2021 2/6

and to grant permission to harvest the fishes from Puthukulam tank till May 2022.

2.The contention of the petitioner is that he was the successful bidder for fishing rights and the period of fishing rights is from March 2014 to March 2019. The further contention of the petitioner is that even after the lapse of the said period, the respondents have not conducted any fresh auction. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking permission to harvest the fish which the petitioner has left out in the said tank. 3.This Court is granting one week time from the date of receipt of 3/6

a copy of this order to the petitioner to harvest the fish and thereafter, the petitioner shall hand over the tank to the respondents. 4.With the above said observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
