O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to sanction and disburse retirement arrears viz. Special Grade Increment arrears and other periodical increment arrears, Teaching Grant arrears, Gratuity arrears and commutation arrears based on the revision of pay from 01.06.2016, Provident Fund Amount and revised pension with effect from 01.10.2017 with interest for the belated payment of arrears to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that in respect of six benefits due to the petitioner as stated in Paragraph No.3 of the affidavit, the respondents have already settled four benefits in favour of the petitioner and the special grade increment arrears and other periodical increment arrears as well as teaching grant arrears are yet to be settled.

3. In view of the above submission, the respondents are directed to consider the facts and circumstances with reference to the above two arrears claimed by the petitioner and take a decision and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
