ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR.J.,) This contempt petition is filed to punish the contemnors/respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.A(MD)No.489 of 2021, dated 26.03.2021.

2.Heard Mr.T.Lajapathi Roy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.J.Anandha Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.

3.The petitioner filed a writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the candidature of the petitioner for interview and consequential appointment to the post of veterinary Assistant Surgeon as per 2019-2020 recruitment of the notification dated 18.11.2019.

4.Though the writ petition was dismissed, this Court by order dated 26.03.2021, allowed the writ appeal filed by the petitioner to the effect that in the event of any of the writ petitions being dismissed and the appellant being entitled to be considered under the said category, the candidature of the petitioner shall be considered by the respondents. 5.The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent submits that though the petitioner has been issued a call letter for attending interview on 13.07.2022, depending upon the out come of the interview further order will be passed in accordance with law.

6.In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that there is no wilful disobedience of the order of this Court and the first respondent has already acted by sending call letter after the disposal of the batch of cases before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.
