This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to consider the representation, dated 20.04.2023 given by the petitioner herein.

2.In the said representation, the petitioner had stated that the weekly vegetable market is being run in the land of temple in S.Nos.220/1 and 220/5-8 in Thenkarai Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District. He does not wants to shift the market.

3.The petitioner has filed the writ petition as a trustee of the temple and the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the land belongs to the petitioner's temple. Probably there will be loss of rental income to the petitioner, owing to shifting of market. However, only the general public is the real stakeholder, certainly not the petitioner herein. 2/4

4.In view of the above, I would not issue mandamus. This writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
