O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents no.1 to 3 to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner constructed a house and the same was obstructed by the respondents no.4 and 5. The 4th respondent is none other than the brother of the petitioner. However, he caused disturbance for construction. Therefore, he sent a representation for police protection on 21.04.2025, but no action was taken. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint against the respondents no.4 and 5 for police protection. The 4th respondent is none other than the brother of the petitioner and the 5th Page No. 2 of 4

respondent is the wife of the 4th respondent. There is a property dispute between the them. While so, they received the representation dated 21.04.2025 from the petitioner and the same is under enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the 3rd and 4th respondents inclined to pass orders in this petition.

5. Since the representation of the petitioner is under enquiry by the 3rd respondent, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.04.2025 and take appropriate action in accordance with law by affording an opportunity to both the parties within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
