PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to give suitable instruction to the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's online compliant in compliant reference No. CSK23294100, dated 09.12.2023 to trace the original Sale deed, dated 19.09.1977 executed by one Thangasamy Nadar and Kulathurar in favour of the petitioner father Ramasamy (Late) in document No.1314 of 1977 within the time prescribed by this Court.

O R D E R
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to give suitable instruction to the 2nd respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint, dated 09.12.2023 to trace the original sale deed, dated 19.09.1997.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has lost his sale deed and has lodged a complaint. Since the same has not been acted upon by the respondent police, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. The respondent police are directed to conduct an enquiry in a proper manner and find out the genuineness of the complaint and thereafter, take a call by issuing certificate as per the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Chennai in Rc.No.2029209/General. 1(1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
