This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.107 of 2025 pending on the file of the second respondent to the fourth respondent or any other competent investigation agency and complete the investigation.
2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the sister of the deceased. On 26.02.2025, the petitioner received a call from Coimbatore North Police Station that the 2/6
car drove by her brother, bearing Registration No.TN 19 AE 5749, namely, Vishnu along with four inmates met with an accident and all the inmates died in this incident. Immediately, she reached the place of occurrence and in the mean time, the third respondent registered the present FIR based on the complaint lodged by one Thiyagarajan, whose father died in this incident. The said Thiyagarajan is not an eye witness to this accident. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 06.03.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that in this case, so far 16 witnesses were examined and the case is under investigation. There is no specific allegation against the investigating officer.
If the petitioner has any material, she can produce the same before the third respondent. Since there are no merits in this case, this petition is liable to be dismissed. 4.
