This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and her husband at the time of fencing the petitioner's property to an extent of 2 acres and 20 cents in Survey No.204/7B of Porunthalur Village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 31.03.2025. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned 2/5
Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that earlier, the petitioner's representation was already considered and closed on 11.03.2025. Again for the same relief, the petitioner sent the representation, dated 31.03.2025 and the same is under consideration. They will conduct enquiry and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law.
3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.
4.According to the petitioner, she sent the representation for police protection to fence the property as against the respondents 4 to 8 but the same has not been considered. The third respondent also admitted the receipt of the petitioner's representation and the same is pending. 5.Therefore, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry upon the petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to both the parties, within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order. 3/5
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
