The order impugned, dated 20.09.2016 rejecting the claim of the writ petitioner for compassionate appointment, is under challenge in the present writ petition.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents Oriental Insurance Company on instructions and based on the death certificate made a submission that the petitioner G.Muthulakshmi died on 14.12.2019.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the application seeking compassionate appointment was filed to provide appointment to her son. W.P.(MD) No.5982 of 2019 exits. As far as the present writ petition is concerned, the writ petitioner died and therefore, no further consideration is required. Hence, the writ petition stands closed.
