This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action in patta transfer order about property situated at Virudhunagar district, vathirayiruppu taluk, Sundarapandian village, S.F.No. 1423/4-A, admeasuring acre 2.56 cents, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court in the light of the petitioner's final representation dated 06.05.2024.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.05.2024 to respondents 1 and 2, seeking appropriate action for issuance of a patta transfer order in respect of the property referred to above. However, no action has been taken on the said representation. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry. The second respondent is further directed to afford a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and to all other persons 3/5
