... Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to release the petitioner Tipper Lorry bearing Registration No.TN-55-BD-4971 within the time stipulated by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.This writ petition has been filed seeking release of the petition mentioned vehicle.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.12960 of 2020 petition mentioned vehicle has also been produced before the Jurisdictional Criminal Court and RPR No.146 of 2020 has been assigned.

4. Therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily move the Jurisdictional Criminal Court for release of the vehicle. On such application being filed by the petitioner, it shall be disposed of within a period of seven days. Giving such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
