ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to give necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and limb based on the complaint, dated 20.07.2021.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) stated that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, FIR has been regsitered in Crime No.255 of 2020. 4. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to file the charge sheet within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is closed with the liberty to the petitioner to file protest petition in the manner known to law, if so advised.
