Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the respondent in Rc.No.7586/2014/NI dated 15.02.2019 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for superintendent for the year 2012-13 and to give promotion to him as Sub Treasury Officer/Superintendent with retrospective effect from the date on which his juniors were promoted and to include his name in the panel of Assistant Accounts Officer for the year 2016-2017 with all service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the writ petition is to grant promotion to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner himself died on 14.05.2021. Thus, no further adjudication is warranted. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
