Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner had presented the petition mentioned document for registration. The grievance of the petitioner is that the registering authority deliberately declined to entertain the document for registration. Seeking direction for registration, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The subject matter of the property is comprised in survey No.679/1 in Kottaiyur Village, Karaikudi Taluk. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents points out that survey No.679/1 stands in the name of Kottaiyur Nattar Receiver.

4. I take judicial notice of the fact that the property is now the subject matter of litigation. In respect of the said property, I cannot direct the registering authority to register the document. Leaving open the rights of the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
