The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to accept the petitioner's application as per the date of birth entered in the birth certificate issued by Tiruchirappalli City Corporation.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that his application was not accepted for recruitment to the post of Police Constable of the year 2019 on account of the variation in the date of birth mentioned in the certificate issued by the Education Department and the birth certificate issued by the Corporation.

3. The notification was issued on 06.03.2019 and the selection process had already been completed. This being the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.6119 of 2019 factum, the relief sought for by the petitioner lost it's relevance and thus, the writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
