The petitioner has filed this Petition to direct the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.455 of 2022 pending on his file as expeditiously as possible and to file final report. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the case in Crime No.455 of 2022 has already been referred as "mistake of fact" and R.C.S has also been served through registered post on 06.06.2024.

3. Since it is reported that the respondent police has referred the case as "mistake of fact", the respondent police is directed to furnish a copy to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, to enable the petitioner to file a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate. The petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition within a period of two weeks month from the date of receipt of the final report.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
