ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to conduct enquiry and cancel patta No.167 and 168, issued in the name of the fourth respondent in respect of various survey numbers mentioned in the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the subject property from one Arasu under the registered sale deed dated 10.05.1995. Thereafter, the vendor of the petitioner sold the very same property to the fourth respondent under two subsequent sale deeds in the year 1997 and based on the subsequent sale deeds, the fourth respondent got the patta transferred in her name in respect of the properties purchased by the petitioner in patta No.167 and 168. Therefore the petitioner submitted a representation on 08.04.2025 before the official respondents seeking cancellation of the pattas issued in the name of the fourth respondent. The same has not been considered. Hence the petitioner has come before this Court.

2. Ms.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for R1 to R3 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.04.2025 and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent.
