The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and dispose of his survey application dated 04.03.2025.

2.Heard Mr.S.Shanmugasundaram, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner having given a representation for survey on 02.01.2025, subsequently made an application on 04.03.2025 and paid requisite charges. The petitioner claims survey based on patta standing in his name and hence, there can be no impediment for the survey application being taken up and disposed of. 4.In the light of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to pass orders on the petitioner's survey application and conduct survey within a period of twelve [12] weeks 2/5

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
