ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(c) and 25 of NDPS Act in Crime No.12 of 2018, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 25.01.2018, at about 8.15 p.m., the respondent police along with the police party, conducted a vehicle check up from Vathalagundu to Theni Bye-Pass Road, near Devathanapatti Jeyamangalam Junction. At that juncture, the petitioner and other accused were riding a car bearing Registration No.TN22A 7533-TATA Indica V2 DLC Turbo Silver colour car, carrying a contraband 3 bags were in a possession of 70 Kgs. of Ganja, out of this, petitioner was in a possession of 20 kgs. Ganja. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent. He did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would vehemently oppose the grant of bail to the petitioner.
5.Considering the nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. In this circumstances, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
