ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed for issuing a direction to the 2nd respondent police to give the Police Protection to the petitioner for his life and limb and for Police Protection for cultivation of the property in S.No.449/5B to an extent of 1 acre 12 Cents situated at Karungal Village, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District based on the petitioner's complaint, dated 18.03.2022.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner purchased the property in S.No.449/5B to the extent of 1 acre 12 cents at Karungal Village from one Masilamani. The third respondent viz., V.Sankara Vadivel, trespassed into the property and also threatened the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner gave complaint on 18.03.2022 before the second respondent police seeking police protection. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the complaint was received and it is under enquiry.
4. Recording the submissions, the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.03.2022 and enquire the matter and take suitable action on merits, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
