PRAYER :- for Bail in Crime No. 108 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 24.06.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa) and 4(1-A)of TNP Act in Crime No.108 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 120 litres of toddy in the palm tree grove on the south of Kamarajarpuram, therefore the case came to be registered.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 24.06.2021, hence he seek bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.10051 of 2021 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police opposed this petition on the ground that the investigation is not yet completed. He would further submit that 11 previous cases are pending against the petitioner and most of the cases are under prohibition act and he was convicted in some of the cases.

5. Taking into consideration the previous bad antecedents of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is repeatedly committing offence under the prohibition act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence, the petition stands dismissed.
