This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 435 days by the petitioner / appellant / sole accused viz., Selvam, by the learned Special Judge for Trial of SC/ST (POA) Act Cases, Thoothukudi in S.C.No.29 of 2020 dated 05.11.2024 pending disposal of the Criminal Appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. Considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, this petition is allowed and delay is condoned.
