This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to not to interfere into civil dispute and thereby not to harass the petitioner and her family members under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025 2.According to the petitioner, the respondent police is harassing the petitioner based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent. Therefore, she sent the representation dated 21.04.2025 to the second respondent, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 2/5
respondent police would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry purpose and apart from that they have not harassed the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner's representation is under consideration with the second respondent and they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.
5.Recording the said submission that the respondent police have not harassed the petitioner and only based on the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent, they called the petitioner for enquiry purpose and the respondent police have not insisted the petitioner to execute any deed in favour of the private respondents and the petitioner's representation is pending with the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry upon the fourth respondent's complaint along with the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2025 and take appropriate action, in accordance with law, within a period of fifteen 3/5
days, from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to both the parties.
6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
