ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to mutate the patta in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.1584 in Survey No.303/10 situated at Pattinamkatthan Village, Periyapattinam, Ramanathapuram District and to rectify the 1/3

error made in the computer patta regarding the Survey Number entered as 393/10 instead of 303/10 at Pattinamkathan Village, Ramanathapuram District in terms of 3rd respondent proceedings dated 07.10.2016 .

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner purchased the property in Survey No.303/10 situated at Pattinamkatthan Village, Periyapattinam, Ramanathapuram District. Thereafter, the third respondent issued Patta in favour of one Vijayanathasamythevar instead of petitioner's name. Therefore, the petitioner made an application to rectify the error before the third respondent. Sofar no action has been taken, the petitioner filed this present writ petition.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 4.Considering the scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2019 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the interested parties, if any.

5.This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
