ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 67 of Information Technology Act 2000, in Crime No.844 of 2017, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant and her daughter received unwanted messages and wrong statements uploaded as against them by the accused persons. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners arrayed as Accused Nos.2 and 3, only the first accused was uploaded the messages and statements as against the complainant. The petitioners are no way connected with the first accused and therefore, nothing to do with the said crime.

4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Trichy and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
