ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from disconnecting the petitioner's electricity connection No.07-005-021-459 in Door No.71/1, Pandithurai 1st Street, Kulavanigarpuram, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District. 2.Heard Mr.K.Jegan, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. Carefully perused the materials available on record. 3.Anticipating that the respondents may disconnect the petitioner's electricity connection No.07-005-021-459 in Door No.71/1, Pandithurai 1st Street, Kulavaligarpuram, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District, this writ petition has been filed by the writ petitioner. However, even after filing of this writ petition and even during the pendency of this writ petition for the past 5 years, so far, the respondents have not taken any steps to disconnect the petitioner's electricity connection.

4.In view of the same, this writ petition stands closed with liberty to the writ petitioner to reopen the same, if the electricity connection is disconnected in future at any point of time. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
