The petitioners herein seek a direction to the respondents to consider their representation dated 15.02.2022 within a time frame and to further direct the respondents not to disturb their possession of the property in Survey Nos.BS/8/14 and BS/7/93, in V.M.Chatram Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, respectively.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Poovanalingam, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.2 and 3.
3. It is the case of the petitioners that they have been in possession and enjoyment of the above said land and portion of the said land in possession of the petitioners is proposed to be acquired by the respondents for construction of subway. The petitioners not satisfied with the alignment of subway and proposal for acquisition of properties in their possession, submitted a representation before the respondents on 15.02.2022 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have come before this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who appear for respondents 2 and 3 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioners will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 15.02.2022 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
