2. When the writ petition came up for hearing on 16.12.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner appearing in person and hence, the matter was adjourned to 21.01.2020. Even on 21.01.2029, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the matter was directed to be listed under the caption "for dismissal". Today (i.e.24.02.2020) also, there is no representation for the petitioner, even though the matter has been listed under the caption "for dismissal". Hence, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs.
