Seeking a direction to the third respondent police to not harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of an enquiry, the present Criminal Original Petition is filed.

Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would contend that after investigation, the complaint lodged by the fourth respondent with the third respondent police against the present petitioner was closed as 'mistake of facts' and a Referred Charge Sheet is also filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Uthamapalayam and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present Criminal Original Petition.
