ORDER

The petitioner hereinn got married to the respondent on 10.12.2014. The marital relationship between the parties had come under strain. The petitioner herein filed IDOP No.93 of 2017 before the learned Principal District Judge, Tuticorin for divorce. In the said IDOP, the respondent/wife filed I.A No.362 of 2017 seeking interim maintenance. The court below by order dated 29.06.2018 granted interim maintenance of a sum of Rs.15,000/- to the wife. The same is questioned in this civil revision petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the petitioner is only working as a Helper in a Boat and he is engaged in fishing activities abroad. It is seen that on either side evidence was not let in. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this Court modifies the order dated 29.06.2018 and directs the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- as interim maintenance to the respondent. Excepting this modification, in all other respects, the order passed by the court below is confirmed.
