The petitioner seeks a rectified patta showing the full extent of land allotted to the petitioner.
2.The petitioner states that he was rescued from the bonded labour system by the District Revenue Administration and as part of the rehabilitation measures, he was provided free agricultural land admeasuring 67 Ares. The said land was in three different survey numbers at Kookal Village, Kodaikkanal Taluk. Upon applying for a patta, he was shocked to receive a patta showing an extent of 30 Ares in Survey No.1246/2C.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the said patta does not indicate lands owned by the petitioner in Survey No.1246/1B and 1246/3C and that, therefore, the petitioner is entitled to a rectified patta indicating the full extent of land allotted to him. 4.Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned counsel for the State, accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents and, without prejudice to the merits of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
