ORDER

I have heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioners seek limited relief of issuance of writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue Natham patta in favour of the petitioners, based on the petitioners' application dated 29.11.2024.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioners' application was already forwarded by the Revenue Divisional Officer to the Tashildar on 10.12.2024 and subject to receiving the report from the Tahsildar, can pass final orders.

In the light of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the third respondent / Tahsildar will forward a report to the second respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Based on which, the second respondent shall pass final orders, after hearing the petitioners, if required and dispose of the petitioners' application for issuance of Natham patta within a period of four weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
