Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court Pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction by calling the records relating to the proceedings of the Respondent made in Refusal Check slip RFL/Manamadurai/2/2022 dated 11.5.2022 and quash the same and consequently direct the Respondent to register the settlement deed dated 11.5.2022 executed by the Petitioner and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may be deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

Considering the peculiar facts in this case that the father has executed a settlement deed in favour of his son and the Sub Registrar has refused to register the document without parent document being filed, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the appellant seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this appeal. W.A(MD)No.567 of 2022 2.Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. However, liberty is preserved for the appellant to maintain the stand that the Register can refuse to register any other conveyance, like, mortgage, sale or lease by insisting to produce the original parent documents to avoid fraudulent registrations in public interest, which will be examined in details by this Court.
