Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

2.The petitioner has earlier approached this Court in W.P. (MD)No.16461 of 2023 and this Court by order dated 11.12.2024, directed the petitioner to give fresh representation, seeking survey and if no action was taken thereafter, approach this Court, if necessary. The grievance of the petitioner is that in pursuance of the said order, the petitioner has made an application on 29.01.2025 and no orders have been passed thereon and hence, taking advantage of the liberty granted in the said order, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present Writ Petition.

3.Learned Counsel submits that the petitioner seeks survey in respect of S.No.221/3. However, according to learned Additional Government Pleader, S.No.221/3 has been further sub-divided and therefore, the petitioner's application to survey S.No.221/3, cannot be acted upon.

4.The said contention of the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent cannot be countenanced for the simple reason that any sub-division effected are to the knowledge of the survey officials and the petitioner may not know the sub-division effected and new number assigned. If at all the said survey number has already been sub-divided, it is for the respondents to identify the new survey number and thereafter, dispose of the petitioner's application. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
