ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.2120 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that it is purely a family dispute between the husband and wife and the in-laws are unnecessarily roped in in this case. He further submitted that during the pendency of this petition, the matter was compromised between the parties and hence, this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent Police to close the case as "Action Dropped". 3.In view of the above, the first respondent Police is directed to close the case in Cr.No.2120 of 2020 as "Action Dropped", within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
