ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents to make necessary corrections in the boundaries in online Encumbrance Certificate in respect of sale deed in Document No.3117/2023 dated 02.11.2023, by effecting "East - Plot No. 58 vacant house plot, West - 6.10 metre width south-north road" instead of "East - 6.10 metre width south-north road, West - Plot No.58 vacant house plot" by considering representation dated 06.12.2024.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that at the time of uploading of the documents, two boundaries of the property had been wrongly described. Subsequently, the document was registered as Document No.3117/2023. As wrong description of the property had been given, the encumbrance certificate also reflects the boundaries as such. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation on 06.12.2024 to rectify the error in the encumbrance certificate. As the same was not considered, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition.

3. Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents produced the written instructions of the second respondent. For the sake of ready reference, the said instruction is scanned and extracted hereunder:

As the Sub Registrar/second respondent has stated, he will carry out the corrections in the encumbrance certificate after getting approval from the District Registrar, suffice it to record the instructions given by the second respondent to dispose of the Writ Petition. The exercise of approval by the District Registrar shall be carried out within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
