Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1 to 5 respondents herein for taking appropriate action against the 6th respondent for letting the private toilet drainage into the Cauvery River near Sri Arulmigu Madukarai Chellandi Amman Temple situated at Thirukampuliyur Village, Karur District and further directing the 1 to 5 respondents herein to provide public toilet facilities in the Sri Arulmigu Madukarai Chellandi Amman Temple, Thirukampuliyur Village, Karur District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2018.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This Writ Petition was filed to seek a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to restrain the 6th respondent from letting the private toilet drainage into the Cauvery River near Sri Arulmigu Madukarai Chellandi
Amman Temple and to provide public toilet facilities to the area people.
2.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that after filing of the Writ Petition, the 6th respondent has been restrained and that he is not letting private toilet drainage into the Cauvery River. Therefore, the first prayer of the Writ Petition has been addressed. The second prayer is to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to construct public toilet. The aforesaid prayer has also been addressed by the respondents by raising construction of 8 public toilets for the use of the public of that area. In the light of the aforesaid, both prayers raised by the petitioner have been addressed. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly admitted the position aforesaid and submitted that both the prayers of the Writ Petition have been taken care of during the interregnum period of the Writ Petition.
4.In the light of the statement made by the learned counsel for the parties, since both the prayers made in the Writ Petition have been taken care of, this Writ Petition has become infructuous and it is
dismissed, however, with an observation that even in future, nobody should be allowed to drain the toilet sewage in the Cauvery River. No costs.
