The grievance of the petitioner is that as against the patta issued to private parties, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent as early as in the year 2021. However, no steps have been taken by the 1st respondent to dispose of the said appeal petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. Considering the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to conduct necessary enquiry, afford a fair opportunity to the petitioner as well as the private respondents, in whose name patta presently stands and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
