O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct the first day program Adalpadal Cultural event scheduled to be held on 06.05.2025 at about 07.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Arulmigu Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Kalliamman Temple, Sevugampatti, Nillakottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, he is the resident of the said village. The villagers decided to conduct Chithirai festival for the said temple and also Adal Padal programme on 06.05.2025 at about 07.00 pm to 11.00 pm at Arulmigu Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Kalliamman Temple, Sevugampatti, Nillakottai Taluk, Dindigul District. Therefore, the petitioner sent the representation dated 15.04.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is under consideration and they will consider the same and take appropriate decision, in accordance with law.

4.Since the petitioner is representation is pending from 15.04.2025 i.e., pending more than eight days, it is deemed to be permitted. Therefore, separate permission is not required and the second respondent is directed to grant police protection for conducting Adal Padal programme on 06.05.2025 in accordance with law. The petitioner is directed not to praise any particular community and also ensure that the programme is conducted without any law and order issue. 5.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
