O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2025 and provide Personal Security Officer.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the head of Tamil Nadu Dalith Rights Protection Movement. Therefore, he is facing various threats from various groups and individuals. Thereby, he sent a detailed representation to provide police protection from the police Department, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is residing within the jurisdiction of Erachkulam, but sent a representation to the 3rd respondent. Hence, the same was closed by the 3rd respondent. However, the representation is pending with the respondents 1 and 2. The 1st respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.

4.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner and already the 3rd respondent closed the representation of the petitioner on the point of jurisdiction and now the representation is pending with the 1st respondent, it is for the 1st respondent to take appropriate action. 5.In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of this order.

6.With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
