ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.486 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police. 1/4

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submits that investigation in Crime No.486 of 2024 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Since the first respondent police after completion of investigation, filed a final report and as per FIR, there are some allegations to constitute the offence against the petitioner, it is for the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, if he is so aggrieved.

4. In view of the above, preserving the liberty of the petitioner to challenge the final report, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. 29.04.2025 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Rmk 2/4
