This petition has been filed to extend the time granted in the order dated 05.05.2021 made in Crl.O.P(MD) No.6470 of 2021, on the file of this Court.

2. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to pandemic situation, the petitioner could not execute the sureties and surrender before the concerned Court within a stipulated time prescribed by this Court and hence seeks extension of time.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in the order copy dated 14.07.2021, the name of the fourth petitioner has been wrongly mentioned as ''Karuppan'' instead of ''Kuppan".

4. Since inadvertently the fourth petitioner's name has been wrongly mentioned in the order copy, the Registry is directed to issue a fresh order copy after carrying out the correction.

5. Further, considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, 15 days time is also extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
