O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission and to give police protection to conduct the Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 03.05.2025 and 04.05.2025 by considering the petitioner representation dated 15.04.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the Executive Committee Member of a political party and they decided to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 03.05.2025 and 04.05.2025 in the private land near Duragai Amman Kovil, Metuneerthahan Village. Therefore, he sent a representation to the second respondent in person on 15.04.2025, but no action was taken. Hence, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that they received the representation of the petitioner and Page No. 2 of 5

the same is under consideration and they will consider the representation and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.

4. This Court heard both sides and perused the records.

5. Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration by the third respondent, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and to grant permission by imposing appropriate conditions in accordance with law without any delay.

6. With the above said observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
