O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the fourth respondent to remove the water pipeline unlawfully laid in the petitioner's property in Survey No.712/44, situated at Thanneerpallam Village, Tenpuranadu Panchayat, Pachaimalai, Thuraiyur Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District by considering the representation, dated 11.06.2024.

2. Heard Mr. S. Lawrence Peter, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. P.B.Ahamed Yasmin Parvin, learned Government Advocae, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the subject property and further contended that the fourth respondent without following due 2/5

process of law, has illegally laid a water pipeline in the said property. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has not taken any steps to consider the said representation.

4. Ms. P.B. Ahamed Yasmin Parvin, learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.06.2024, will be considered by the respondents on merits within a time frame to be framed by this Court. The said submission is taken on record.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of, directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.06.2024, on its own merits and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

6. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

7. There shall be no order as to costs.
