Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.M.JEGADEESH PANDIAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.S.RAVI, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the interim suspension granted in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.702 of 2023 in Crl.A(MD)No.55 of 2023 dated 05.03.2024 by considering the medical grounds.
2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's wife is suffering from plenty number of tumors inside her body and the Doctor has given a report to the effect that his wife is affected with a rare type of Cancer-VHL (Von Hippel Lindu Syndrome) and immediate surgery is required. Since no one is available to take care of the petitioner's child, he prays to extend the interim suspension granted by this Court.
3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court is extending the interim suspension of sentence till 14.06.2024.
