ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner and her family members. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on 24.05.2022, at about 03.00 pm, some people set fire to the petitioner's haystack of paddy and ground nut, worth about Rs.1,50,000/-(Rupees One Lakh and Fifty Thousand). After that, every night some unknown persons knocked the petitioner's door and threatened him to murder. Thereafter, he lodged a complaint to the respondent police, on 27.05.2022. But, no action has been taken. Hence, this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the said complaint was received through post and it is under enquiry. 4.Recording the same, the third respondent is hereby directed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10998 of 2022 to conduct an enquiry and take suitable action on merits and in accordance with law.

5.With the said direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
