This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondents 1 and 2, to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner.

2. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the complaint dated 13.09.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in current enquiry C.No.41/R1PS/RAPM/INS4/2020 and the same is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. Further, if necessary, the 2nd respondent Police is ready to give necessary police protection to the petitioner.
